Tim Hortons Plans Multiple New Howard County Locations

Tim Hortons, the beloved Canadian coffee and donut chain, is making its way to Maryland with plans to open 10 locations in Howard and Carroll Counties. This expansion marks the brand's first foray into the state.

Founded in 1964 in Hamilton, Ontario, Tim Hortons has grown into Canada's largest quick-service restaurant chain with over 5,700 locations worldwide. In the US, they’ve established a presence in New York, Michigan, and Ohio, with 659 locations.

The new locations will feel familiar if you’ve been to any Tim Hortons. They’re all about 1,600 square feet with a cozy indoor dining area. The company is actively seeking locations, ideally those with free-standing buildings and drive-thru capability.

Tim Hortons' menu is loved all over Canada for its premium coffee, freshly baked donuts, and a variety of fast-casual offerings. I’ve never been to a Tim Horton’s but after looking at the menu, I can’t wait to try one of those Reese’s Dream Cookies. Just don’t tell my doctor.
