🏡 Howard Housing Crunch Hits Jessup Hard in 2025

Howard County’s spring housing market is a mixed bag. While listings are rising across Greater Baltimore, Jessup (ZIP 20794) saw Maryland’s steepest drop—down 59% in Q1 2025. Just nine new listings hit the market, compared to 22 last year. The silver lining? Prices only rose 1%. Columbia (21046) also saw a 19% dip in listings, with flat prices. Experts say Howard is bucking national trends because demand remains sky-high—great schools, strong job market, and low turnover keep inventory tight.
