With federal subsidies expiring, state leaders fear 70,000 Marylanders might lose coverage—just when staying healthy is more expensive than ever. With 10,000 Howard County residents receiving health insurance through the exchange, these changes will adversely affect the county. Businesses face smaller hikes, but the sticker shock is real. ($)
